This is a time for Berkeley to actualize the values that provide a safe and positive
environment for all the people who live here. For too many years, the city
leadership has represented only a part of the citizens who live here.
We need to come together and provide affordable housing, culturally responsive
excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and sustainable ways to keep the city using
green energy. Past leaders may have the talk, but they don't have the walk.
None of them have lived in the flats or
worked in low income schools. The high
cost of being healthy and green in Berkeley
is not an issue for them. Our business
community and higher income citizens
share vision and values with those that
are struggling. I will create pathways for
all of us to work together to actualize our
shared goals.
We can have a city where everyone is valued and where we can create positive growth.
In order to have leadership that will work to provide
equitable access are viable opportunities for all members of
our communities, we need a different kind of mayor.
I have the life experience and the deep seated values to
represent all sectors of our city. I would be honored to have
your vote and to work with you to manifest the vision we share.
